Broadcast quality acoustic recording...

Hello, and a warm welcome to the womb website. The Womb is a small digital project studio run from a dedicated building at the end of a garden in Quinton, Birmingham U.K. The ethos is to provide a welcoming, open minded and above all, professional environemnt where local acoustic artists can record their music to broadcast quality at an affordable price. It has seperate live and control areas and a home made vocal booth. The studio is centred around a Pentium IV running Cubase SX and Adobe Audition. Recently the Womb has been good for:

Artists looking to record their first ''produced' record for promotional purposes and self release.
Musicians who wish to make the step up from recording at home on analogue or digital multitrackers.
Hip-Hop and dance music vocal overdubs.
Acoustic artists who realise that they don't need to be paying an expensive hourly rate to record in a studio that is over equipped for their project.
Those who feel unhappy with the sometimes impersonal, overtly commercial nature of some recording studios.
